Ok, I drew this because I had a few things to say about the second Bambi movie. WARNING THERE ARE SPOILERS COMING OUT THE WAZOO OF THIS DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!
1) I really liked it. Even though it was only an hour and 13 minutes long. And even though it was a kids movie, they still puts signs of real life in the movie. Like fawns fighting for instance, that was nice and violent and realistic in fawns' behavior and actions. And also, the dogs being kicked off in the chase one by one. Plenty of them were thrown off in a very violent manner and I loved it cuz it kept me into the movie. It also made me understand what had "become of Bambi" from when his father took him in to when you first see him as an adult.
2) The creators really did respect the old movie. The backgrounds were very similar to the first movie and it still kept a very nice atmosphere and what's even better is that every character fit into it marvelously.
3) I did not like how Faline's personality was in this movie. In the first movie, she was very active and giggly and more or less giddy and hyper. Now, maybe it's just because she matured more, but I think she should've had a more playful attitude in the movie, especially towards Bambi, so that you can get a hint that it's not just Bambi having a crush on her, but that Faline also has a crush on Bambi. They showed a little bit of her interest here and there, but I still didn't see her flirty attitude that she had when she was younger and when she was older. She was probably the only character I seen that was "out of character" which is good for a "midquel" because everyone else stuck to their original personality.
4) Ronno is fricken awesome. I'm SOOOOOOOOO glad that they gave him a part in this movie. I always wondered who he was and where he came from in the first movie. I read in a book once that Ronno was Bambi's cousin, but I'm not for sure. Ronno had an awesome personality: he was tough, cocky, and actually pretty funny. Like when he said "Bambi? Isn't that a GIRL'S name?" I cracke dup because I always wondered why Bambi's name was HIS name and was a girls name at the same time. I know that it means "fawn" but it's still a girl's name. And it made me laugh. I also thought that he was hysterical when he said "Where's everybody goin? Forest on fire? :D" It was refering back to the first movie when the forest caught on fire...it's crude humor, I know, but it's still funny XD
5) I really liked the character Mena (the doe that took Bambi in) I think that she should've been given a bigger part, or at least a LITTLE bigger, because she seemed very sweet.
6) The Great Prince was my other favorite character (next to Ronno) he was a very good father, dispite how seriously he took his duty as a leader of many herds. However, I wish that I would've known more about his past and the meeting between him and Bambi's mother. A flashback or SOMETHING would have sufficed, but I feel that I didn't know enough about him. Oh. And his voice was super sexy.
7) This isn't about the movie, but about a preview I seen on the DVD...WHY THE frack ARE THEY MAKING A SEQUEL, TO AN ALREADY-POINTLESS DISNEY MOVIE?! You've guessed it. They're making a Fox and the Hound II and there is absolutely nothing original about it. Fricken Copper joins a fricken band and fricken Todd thinks that his fricken personality is changing and that the fame is getting to his fricken head. You know what? I've never seen this midquel, but there was NO TIME in the first movie for ANY part of this movie to take place (keep in mind that in this sequel, Copper and Todd are still young). We all know what happened between Copper and Todd right from when they met, to when they both grew up. Copper went on a hunting trip, and Todd grew up into a domesticated animal. WHEN THE frack did Copper have time to be a part of a band when his master was trying to teach him the ways of the hunting dog???? Yeah. Yeah. That's right. I'm mad. I am utterly PISSED.
But Bambi II was good. :D

I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAALY want to see this movie! it looks SO cute!!!! Just from the commercials I could tell that it was good movie and that they kept it in tune with the first one.
I totally agree about the Fox and the Hound Sequel (just not using as rich a "vocabulary"). It looks really stupid. Besides, isn't a sequel supposed to be FOLLOWING the first movie, not smack dab in the middle of it!? -.-
CUTE PICCIE!

XD I lurve you.
I want to see the Bambi movie, but my mom seems to think that I won't be interested in it... even though I told her I was.
I don't remember Ronno. Which is why I have to watch the first one, too. X3 I never actually thought I'd want to watch Bambi so badly. It freaked me out when I was little... I think I swore it off back then. B-but... I should be able t-t-to watch it... even i-if his mom does get sh-sh-shot. T__T
