Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III

Occupation: Odd jobs (often cleaning windows or going on breakfast runs) at Gobber's body shop
Hobbies and interests: Working with vehicles, invention, internet shopping, trivia and statistics
Prospective Career: Engineer
Hangouts: Gobber's garage, Old Wrinkly's "Realm of Mystical Enlightenment"
Special Skills: Speaks at least three different languages, fixing things, cynicism.
Quirk: Vegetarian for environmental reasons
Bio: Having recently returned to the city from years of studying in a boarding school abroad, Hiccup doesn't quite fit into the neighborhood like he used to. Though his father generally suppresses his inventive genius, Hiccup has been working on potentially world-changing technology in secret; developing a super-efficient engine and testing it in a prototype motorcycle. A bit of an environmental nut, sometimes the only person Hiccup can really relate to is his grandfather, Old Wrinkly- who, while slightly eccentric (a fortune teller and "natural healer"- whatever that means-who hasn't quite mentally left the hippie commune), can make a mean vegetarian potato curry. Still, Hiccup wishes he could relate better with his former schoolmates- one girl in particular.

Astrid Hofferson

Occupation: Excellent buffet girl apprentice (no, seriously- your drinks'll be refilled before you know what hit you.)
Hobbies and interests: Flat-track rollerderby, "chilling", used to be a brilliant, determined violinist when she was younger, but is tight-lipped about that now.
Prospective Career: Undecided.
Hangouts: The Dragon's Den Buffet and Sushi, "around."
Special Skills: Rollerskating, coercion
Quirk: Takes almost everything very seriously; hardworking and determined in everything she does. Still, possesses a spontaneous, wild streak.
Bio: *still largely under development* Always a bright, determined student, almost everything came easy to Astrid. Bored with success and sick of her many admirers, she took on a bit of a rebellious streak late in high school, giving up her instrument and sacrificing many of her honors in order to give herself "space to think."
