Amaterasu- Solar Flare

Description

This is Ammy, when she transforms into Shiranui, or at least I think that's what happens! I wasn't exact with the red markings on her, and the weapon isn't perfect either, but it was my first go at painting, so it may look weird..
Done in chinese ink and brush, with watercolour to make it colourful!

UPDATE!
This turned out to be my most faved picture! I'm surprised, as looking back, I don't think it's that good...

This is beautiful! I love Amaterasu! I also love the game Okami. I so have to get that game, I've played the demo before and was amazed by how beautiful the graphics were aswell as how fun the game was. So I'm still planning on getting it some day. Anyway, the detail in this is amazing my friend! Awesome job! ^^

Love it!!! I love quadrupeds, they're better looking than bipeds and hexapeds.(I just made that word up; it's a Glueck thing.) I also like the colors. (I'm some kind of art student thing and paid attention when we talk about colors-apparently, you did too!)

Swirlies are good, too. Love swirlies, and they always manage to look better in watercolor or oil paints. (My mom does oil swirlies all the time! once she did a cool snail, and put swirlies all around it, and the whole thing looked cool! [yes a snail])
