Here's my entry for darkwolf333's contest!
Name-Snowball
Age-1
Species-Bat
Story-
After several hours of painstaking stitching, reconstruction and electric shocks, this tiny little bat, killed by flying into a window, got a second shot at life. This time though, living in offices in the laboratory, much to the amusement of the scientists and technicians! (Not really much of a story, I know, but I wouldn't want to burn your eyes with my shocking storytelling!)
I did consider a hybrid, but my head could have exploded with the possibilities!
