Pensee Shurlie Hoveling

12 year old Pensee is Leawyn's younger sister, before the calamity that fell upon Elturel she was known to be more of a quiet bookish girl. She knows how to get under people's skin and tries often to manipulate them in ways that fit her needs.

The experience of Elturel being dragged to hell made her more outspoken and come out of her shell, as the thought of dying without having said all the things she always wished to say terrified her.
