Ok, this is my first attempt at drawing a serpent-like dragon (No wings, not hind legs, long thin body). It's baised on the appearence of a Mongolian dragon, I just got rid of a few more detailed things 'cause I was feeling lazy.
Where to begin.... Ah! This is the dragon of one of my newer charaters Ryu (That's another name that seems to pop up alot with my characters and what-not). I haven't thought of a name for this dragon, so I would like to hear some suggestions if you have any. I'd prefare if it was a strange name, not one like 'Smokey' or 'Flame' because to be they seem more like pet names or nick-names. Anyhoo, he's a fire dragon and really vicious so a name relating to that would be great! ^_^ The reason you can't see the scales is because they are very small and fine... As well as the fact that I'm lazy. But hey, at least I come up with good cover-ups! XD
I would like feed back, where to improve, what to keep. If you are going to comment on this, I'd REALLY REALLY appreciate if it were constructive. ^w^

I love the head structure and the coloration is great^^ the only thing that you might want to change if you ever draw him again, is to make his body bigger. ya need a big body to support the beautiful head^^And as for a name... Naoki?

Ohohoh! I have a name for himmmmm... Name him... Coco! (Just kidding!) Why don't you name him Kubai? It's a kind of reddish-purple.
