Calla and "Teddy"

The young lady lead in the same story as Roger. Calla, or Cal, is strong-willed, loud, and although she would never admit it, a bit of a damsel in distress. She can talk her way out of anything, and use her feminine wit and wile to weasel out of problems. Should she be unable to use either of these talents, she is a bit helpless. This is most likely the reason for her odd choice in pets, a large American Alligator named Teddy. He is as loyal as a dog, as smart as a cat, and as dangerous as a tiger. He also isn't altogether fond of Roger. Teddy's just protective of Calla, that's all. Cal has a great sense of direction and all the tactical intuition in the world, however, she has been known to get confused easily when tired. Roger and Cal have been friends since they where just kids, and consider each other to be the only family they've needed for  years. (Along with Teddy who is five.)

(P.S. I had no idea how am alligator actually looks. He looks a bit draconian, but forgive me. I've never drawn a alligator before. ^___^)  Oh, and I'm hoping to start to get this story written down soon. I have truly fallen in love with the characters. Let me know if you really interested in reading some of it and that will probably kick me in to getting it written.
