Isandara (for Danke)

This is a picture of my friend Danke's character, Isandara (done with her permission-- in fact, at her request). Issy is a human/gryphon hybrid. Her species was created by mages when the last of the griphons were almost killed off in a gryphon/human war. They start life as normal gryphon chicks, but grow into human beings. Isandara is eight years old, so she still retains most of her gryphon characteristics. Her wings, unfortunately, will never allow her to fly, but I drew her with the wind blowing through them, letting her remember a time when her ancestors ruled the skies.
