I love Yakumo. He’s exactly the kind of character I like; big and masculine and friendly. And it appeared to me that Sanzo (was developing a crush on him) had finally found a person he didn’t dislike. That said, RELOAD vol. 1was the first manga that actually made me cry. It was also the one that made me think of Sanzo and Goku’s relationship as that of a father and a son instead of that of a teacher and a student.

cheydancerLovely pencil work, it looks just like him. :D He did appear in the anime, too. I no longer remember what episode, but it was a real tear jerker.
