Hai! A shooting star!

Bathed in the silver moonlight that broke through the spaces in the forests leafy canopy, a small girl lifted a seemingly almost translucent hand to point at a bright beam of light that shot through the night sky. Had anyone been there to listen, they might have heard her awed whisper...
"Hai Mia, a shooting star..."

Couldn't resist putting that little bit of story in there. I just think it fits in with the picture... Seems I'm in a rut of only drawing Daisuke. Apologies for the REALLY crappy background... 'tis supposed to be a forest... please don't eat me.

Wow, I had a really fun time drawing last night. First, I knocked my lamp of the desk twice in a row, then I slipped on my spare folder (breaking the folder and probably stunting my backside for life), then when I went to put it away, I fell over. Then I fell over again while walking across the room (slipping on my folder AGAIN on my way to the loo). It would have been hilarious, but it was my pain. So it really wasn't. XD
