Chunnin Exam Daisuke

Yeaaah... I've read book 11... NOOOOO LEE MUST LIVE!!!!! Anywhoo, I was trying to draw a comic at the same time, and as I drew I thought; 'What if Dai-chan had to go up against Gaara in the Chunnin Exams?'. Since they're both demons, I get the feeling Gaara would be more comfortable with Dai-chan than other people, so if he had to fight her, would he beat her mercilessly or go easy on her?
This pic is set after their fight. I decided on Dai-chan getting beaten up, 'cause I was in a bad mood.
It's like the fight with Neji and Hinata-chan, has anyone seen that? When Hinata gets up at the end, stands for a minute or so, then coughs blood and falls down, Daisuke does much the same thing. This is just before that happens, as Daisuke is telling Gaara; "I'm glad I lost to you, rather anyone else.".
A detail you probably won't notice is the Hitai-Ate band, which isn't a Leaf. Halfway through, she was flagging badly, and Mia [her demon] realised she didn't have enough motivation to win. She convinced Daisuke to switch her Leaf Hitai-Ate to the one from her old village, the Sky Hitai-Ate. This gave Daisuke waaaaaaaay more incentive to win, 'cause she wasn't fighting for Leaf any more.
Like Lee, after the fight they think Daisuke is too damaged to ever be a Shinobi again, and Gaara insists on breaking the news to her himself, after all, it was his fault. But Daisuke won't give up, and Mia helps heal her over time.
So everyone wins!!!!!!!!!

Nya, also, I was thinking as I drew this, 'Dai-chan looks so happy still!', and I had a plot bunny attack me where Naruto asks her if she's ever been depressed, 'cause she always looks so cheerful. Then afterwards, it goes like,
"Gaara-chan! Someone actually talked to me for more than thirty seconds who didn't want to kill me!!!"
"Really? That's great!"

Ahh, I have such a strange mind...
