Ok first, i do use a digitial camera, and you can crop on this site. Crop out all the areas that don't belong in you're picture before you submit it. :)

secondly, You're proportions are off. If you make a small head, make a small body that isn't really long. If you use a large head, make a longer body. It helps to even it out.

And since you're picture isn't exactly taken at a good angle i can't really give you any more advice. :(
