The Funky Monkey

This is a random drawing I did about a year ago while listening to our local radio station KFNK 104.9 FM. It's also known as the "Funky Monkey", and they mainly play metal/rock/grunge-type of stuff. (Which I very much appreciate.) Things like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Sound Garden, All of those are local bands!!! They originated HERE in Washington State! Other bands include Green Day, Linkin Park, Incubus, Bullet for my Valentine, Radiohead, Coheed and Cambria, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Smashing Pumpkins, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Audio Slave, Rage Against the Machine...and tons more along those lines. They also have some pretty cool radio show hosts, too.
Anyway, all this to say, I drew this in honor of the awesome songs they continue to play for us Washingtonians (and you, too...if you listen online! ;) ).
