I think most of him should be a little more masculine given the boy's occupation. I do like this but my beef lies in the hand. I know full well how hard hands are to draw so here's where I think you went wrong: I think you got mixed up with angles- it looks like at first you wanted to show it from the side hence the lack of wrist and thumb but then you didn't like that and made it a fore-view. It's hard to tell the difference between where the knuckle ends and fingers begin which makes them look altogether too long. It's the way you highlighted them I think, there isn't any transition. There isn't any difference in length between the pinkie and ring finger and the hand needs do be wider on the left side a little (I'm not sure how to explain this but try looking in the mirror and do this hand position and you'll notice how the hand will bulge out from the wrist more). I hope I helped a little (I didn't intend to be mean or anything) and you'll get it eventually

in truth i don\t like the hand i never did. and i agree 100% with what you have written, i just don't plan on changing anything because i just can't bring myself to go back to this peice, i don't like it any more so yeah. thank you though

Its cool. but his face should be a little more Masculine and even know the lower half is done well, the showing skin thing isn't really Gaara like.
