The Gaze of Stone

This is just something I drew for my art class, just like the other abstract black and white pictures. The problem was to create a picture with curving lines to represent motion, and so I thought a picture representing the coiling snakes of a gorgon would be an interesting, creative way to solve the problem. I'm going to make this into a full scale painting in acrylic, so I'll be putting up a color version later, although that one won't be as stylized as this one; I'll make the painting more realistic.
