Oh...my...GOD this took FOREVER to finish! And it still didn't come out the way I wanted it -_-; I drew these off of offical (manga) art *Hides away in shame* They look NOTHING like the original, because I'm BAD at that, but they were still hard to draw! Ah, well, they're decent drawings at least. *Runs off*

Freak, that's a long comment! I know I can talk to you at any time, but I'm comenting anyway! The lines are all...not there...because I didn't ink this one(I started inking again after this picture, actually). I probably did screw up on the hips thing, though x_x. Thanks for the lovely comments o_o. They make me feel special! Anyone want me to color a pic? Anyone...? *crickets*

Ok! All aboard the critiquing train. As my first statement, I'd like to say I have the artist's permission to frankly critique her work. So! Onto the bad. (she's so nervous... maybe I'll drag it on... ) =P These are both copied off of pictures. This is extremely difficult to critique in that way, because I've seen the pictures and compare them automatically. That is something people should never do. Even in a direct reproduction, artists always give the picture some sort of individual style. Anyway, the drawing istelf is lost in the coloring. I can hardly see any pencil, ink, or any sort of lines. This is a style thing. I like lines. The proportions of the Ragna (Laguna, whichever) Blade Lina are a bit off. Her hip juts out at too far of an angle to be quite natural (though I understand it might've been this way in the picture). Some of the coloring is very quick looking. Compared to other parts of the picture, the rushed coloring looks.... rushed. It seems incomplete. Onto the good things! All of the coloring on any sort of jewel is done with the greatest of execution. They're shiny, perfect, glowing jewels. Also, the coloring in general is pretty nice. I like the CG style you chose and how you execute it. It doesn't get much bette than the RB Lina's pink clothes. Excellent use of lighting and depth. Seriously, the flare of the shirt under the belt and the legs are all colored with extreme taste and style. There's careful detail to the shadows while still conveying a unique style that remains consistant in your work. If I were you at this point and wanted to comission some work, I would pair with a sketch artist and be a colorist. At this moment, coloring is your greatest talent. Utilize it.
