KHSimulacrum: Don't Apologize

Before you comment: Yes, I see the disturbing disregard for proportions and glaring errors in anatomy. They threaten to consume me.

Chapter 4 illustration number 1 for Kingdom Hearts: Rebirth of the Simulacrum! (KH: Simulacrum is written by Benecide, NOT ME) For those of you who are already familiar with the fic... well, at the risk of spoiling something, this is a flashback (as you can probably guess, judging from the fact that they're in Organization garb). And for those of you who are *not* already familiar with the fic, here's a quick preview:

Just after the events that take place in Kingdom Hearts 2 we have the story of what happens to Roxas, along with certain other important figures from the Kingdom Hearts universe. Accompanying him on his journey is Rinoa Heartilly (Final Fantasy VIII), and together they set out to find lost friends, answers, and maybe a little adventure in the process.

Returning to the pale being’s side, Roxas wordlessly called his two Keyblades and held them over his head. The Dusk looked back at him, and the simple telepathic message, the extent of the misshapen Nobodies’ powers, floated into his mind.

‘Thank you, my liege.’

The Keyblades flashed away as Roxas fell to his knees and put his face in his hands. “I can’t do it.”

The red-haired man walked calmly to the other side of the Dusk, across from Roxas. “I know. You don’t have to. You just have to understand.”
