Rebirth of the Simulacrum is a post KH2 story written by the talented and skillful Benecide (who, I assure you, is not nearly as redundant as myself). It follows the story of Roxas as he embarks on a quest to find his best friend alongside sorceress comrade Rinoa Heartilly, whom you may remember from a little game called Final Fantasy 8. As the two trek across the universe in search of that which they have lost, a truly ominous mystery comes to light, and suddenly some things are much more sinister.

...He coughed uncomfortably. "Scary's a good word. Where do we begin...?"

"Hold on...!" Roxas said quickly, grabbing a blank page off the desk. "It looked..." The Intercessor watched amusedly as he leaned over and began to scribble out a likeness of the monster. "Like..." Rinoa stood on her tiptoes to glance over his shoulder at the progress of the sketch. Intent on remembering the image, he added the spikes, the bloody bandages, the curving fangs... "This!" He leaned over carefully with Vidina hugging on his waist and handed Lulu the paper. She took it, and scanned it over.

Paling, she broke the silence with a startled whisper. "It's her..."
