"Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me."
From a poem by Emily Dickenson.
The quote doesn't really relate to Sanctum Sanctorum as well as it might appear to at first. Sanctorum is not death, but rather, sin. I just like the idea of personifying something evil and generally unpleasant as a gentleman, and the line just made me think of him. I guess I like the overall result.
How come whenever I draw Sanctorum, I'm not in a coloring mood? Ah, well. This was a good opportunity to practice shading. Though I suppose most people would tell you that a mechanical pencil from the dark abyss of my bedroom floor is not the best tool for this. Eh, oh well xD
<3 Sanctum Sanctorum :)

^_^ Ah, I love the shading. Personally, I think Sanctum does better without color. He just doesn't seem like the colorful kind of person, so maybe it's better that he's kept in black and white. Shading looks epic, though.
