chained to fate

It was very difficult to color this. And not really because of the picture itself. More, because of the emotion it evoked. See, sadly, though Nabin is an epic character, and I love him dearly, the person that he was somewhat based off of in real life has been angering me quite a bit lately, and so, this picture is tied to that anger. Thus, the coloring job may not exactly be... up to par. Contrary to popular belief, it's actually harder for me to create art when I'm feeling any sort of strong emotion. Inspiration is necessary, but emotion just gets in the way and distracts. Anyway, I'm somewhat pleased with the end result, nonetheless. A lot of experimentation was involved. I used a new pen to ink, the torso isn't the focal point of the image like it usually is in my artwork, and I messed around with the puppets' designs a little bit. How's the end result?

Yes, I know that the bottom puppet doesn't have thumbs and the top one's hands are different. That was intentional.
