Description
Description
This is another print tribute as you can tell by the title....The original is by Suzuki Harunobu and was called Sagimusume, which is the title of a kabuki dance. It's supposed to be a dancing-girl, clothed in a snow-white kimono, that appears by the waterside as the incarnation of a white heron and, employing the gestures of the heron, performs the dance of a girl unhappy in love.
