I Wanna Fall In Love

wow, theres something very soft yet at the same time, very bold about this picture. like, the colouring of her skin, her expression and they way she is holding herself are gentle, but the lines of the drawing, they coluring of her hair and her eyemarkings are a strong contrast. overall, the effect is very well achieved and i love this picture. I just love how you draw peope in general, and id be really grateful if maybe you could give me some advice on how to improve my own drawing style. please? anyways, fantatsic job on this pic!

Well. I guess the best advice I can EVER give it to KEEP PRACTICING. I didn't get any better from doing nothing. XD Also, study people. How they move, how they look, and that junk. Anatomy is key, so never be afraid to pick up a book about it. C:

Also, my style comes from bits and pieces of other styles I love. That's the only way you'll make your own style. By looking at others. A lot of my work is based off a friend's from an oekaki I go to. You have to see how other people draw in order to become a better artist, because if you see how other's draw, you get a better understanding about how YOU should draw.

And don't be afraid to start over. This may be bad if you have a deadline coming up, but if it's just for fun, and you're not liking what you're seeing, toss it and start over. Or erase whatever you don't like and work from that.

uhm... and surround yourself with thing you like. I listen to music when I draw. But don't draw in a NON relaxing place, unless you like... unrelaxing places. erm. DO WHAT YOU SEE FIT. C:
