Story: Born with Sunagakure's protecter and jinchuriki (sp) Kazekama, Shina and her parents went unknowing of it except for her uncle, grandmother, and older brother Tori. They knew that she was going to be unstable at her young age and her parents would freak if they found out so the three of them kept it a secret from them by placing a seal on her back to keep Kazekama under control. It wasn't long before they found out and casted her away, banishing her from seeing her beloved brother. She was exiled to Konohagakure where she was picked up by Iruka. He enrolled her into the academy and she became a ninja but still wore the headband representing her home land of Sunagakure. She met up with a fire ninja named Maici with the same jinchuriki problem she has. They trained and became friends before the chunin exams. Shina then met Gaara and forever became in love with him. There was something about her that intrigued him and he didn't kill her. Another year passed and Tori found Shina once more, begging her to return to Sunagakure with him. She left Maici and her second home village with her brother and Gaara as he was returning to take up position of Kazekage. Soon she came back after becoming a jonin and joined an elite team with Maici and her father Kokoatsu in Konohagakure. She visits Sunagakure every now and then to see her brother and Gaara but remains in Konohagakure.

Personality: She is very cheerful and has a deep love for her brother and Maici but not the same love she feels for Gaara. She is very flirtatious, but knows when to draw the line. Outgoing and very skilled she has earned respect from most of her family, but not much of Sunagakure yet.

Weaknesses: If Kazekama were to ever take control of her she would be completely helpless and her body can't take the damage of the monstrous jinchuriki. She also can over excert herself by using a significant amount of chakra.

Other: She is very in love with Gaara and he seems to love her back because he feels as though they share almost the same fate and she's the only one who understands him and doesn't think of him as a monster. She is a wind manipulator and can kill people with powerful wind attacks.


Man she's one of my fav OC's because I especially love her story. Her story is way more detailed then what I wrote and if you want me to write the story for you I can. ^~ But only if you'll read it. ^~

The picture . . . her legs are a little light I know but I don't care because she still looks amazing. I have played around with her color and style so much but I think this one might be a keeper. I might have to draw her in all her styles for you. ^^ I like the headband though and that's her humungous shuriken she uses. When fully spread it's about as tall as her. ^^ Tell me if there's anything wrong with it or if you have questions about her. ^
