When Angels Fall

“You have always told us that we are to teach love and compassion to the humans and yet you are saying we cannot love? No, I will not have it. If you tell me that it is forbidden to be with the one I love.” Lairous reached up and took hold of his golden halo and held it in both hands. All the angels around him gasped and horror passed their faces as he started to bend it. His friends tried to run forward to stop him, but the other angels held them back. A loud snapping noise followed by a sort of chime filled the air as Lairous broke his halo in half and held the two pieces in his hands tightly. “Then I will no longer serve you,” he said darkly as he threw the broken pieces of the halo at God’s feet.

(Darkness) *Squeels and faints*
(Lairous) Well, that was a rather offensive sounds *pokes Darkness with his foot* You okay?
(Darkness) *springs up* Just fine and dandy! Well this is another one of my recent pics that I have been sooo proud of! I nearly dropped dead when I finished it (and after finxing his arms three damn times!!!) So this is my fallen angel character Lairous in his angel form and this pic represents him denouncing himself from God. Yep it was his own decision to become Fallen as you can see from the text above.
(Lairous) Best choice I ever made.
(Darkness) *nods* I’m still working out the kinks of why he became Fallen, but I think it will be something like his job was to be a guardian angel and he fell in love with his charge and of course that would be a big no no…probably a guy charge too. The text above was actually longer with more detail, but I thought you guys wouldn’t be interested so I just got this piece from it. If you want to read the longer part tell me and I’ll put it up. Now onto the pic itself. I know his outer wings look really weird and maybe even stupid, but there’s a reason. You see he was originally supposed to be naked in this, but I couldn’t get his wings to cover his crotch area without either covering his hands (which are really important) or having the wings look even odder. So I gave him the robeish skirtish thing and left the wings the way they were. I loooove the inner part of his wings though, they’re so pretty! And for those of you who saw my first pic of Lairous you might remember how blocky his hair was right? Well I tried a more strandy natural look and I think I did very well and he looks so great with it! It took forever to do but it was really worth it. Well, I’m sure I had more to say but you’re probably bored or haven’t read this far anyway. Please comment and tell me what you think!

P.S. Um he’s holding his broken halo in his hands if you couldn’t tell. Everyone I showed thought it was something else and I’m not sure why his hands are bleeding I just thought it would be a cool effect. Well, later!
