there is a funny story about a cardinal i saw once,
i had been sitting on the porch when i saw one sitting on the fence across the yard, it was doin its little mating call, so i whistled back to him, and i sat there for about 10 min. repeating the same melody back. i watch him with some binoculars and every time i whistled back, he would tip his little head. it was so cuuute!
