The Dream of a Mermaid

well, this is definitly not a subject i normally draw.
interestingly enough though, i accually drempt that i was a mermaid the night before i drew this.... but the dream was cut short by my stupid alarm clock >_<#
luckily though, i was able to get a good look and my "tail" and some of my surroundings before it went off.

im rather pleased with how this came out considering the fact that i didnt have any references whatsoever.

i may just try making this into a CG, i have a good idea of the colors i'd like to use. though that may take a while since i'm trying to do that with one of my other drawings at the moment.
