Been a while since I've followed up on this series... I don't even know who Chris is (when did he come in the picture? 0__0).
Chris looks tiny compared to Yumi (is he in the series?). I have a hard time drawing guys too, but I think you could use some more shape and fullness in Chris's body. He looks... flat. I think your hands on Yumi aren't bad, but Chris could use some brushup. At any rate, I think you can add some spark to it.
