Mirmaid

Description

I drew this in my sketch book using color pencils, water color pencils, fine tipped blue marker, and sakura pen. She's an original character of mine, but I haven't named her yet. Any sujestions would be much apreciated! 
 
P.S. I hope to add a background eventualy. Hope you like it! ^-^

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This just sooo cool!!!!!!!!! I could never do that with watercolor pencils. It's just so..so so WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A good name for that character would be Ayame, it means iris.

Mermaids are really rare in the art world. Have you noticed that? Anyway this is really great. Nice position and I love the coloring. She's very sea green and it really suits her. I also like her expression, she sort of looks like a firey/spunky kind of girl. For a name... something that would go with that personality... something like... Zerdina... *shrugs* It sounds kind of cool. Anywyat... I have one last thing to say... I love those scales.

wow that is absolutely beautiful! wonderul soft colours and pose. lily would indeed be a great name, i think. or perhaps something like naida (water nymph) or kaelin (waterfall pool)

wow o.o this is awesome....I especially like the pose you put her in, it's very original and works really well with the whole picture.

So beautiful! I love the way you made the lineart bluish with some green and yellow tints to accompany the coloring. ^_^

Hmmm...Aurora just might be used for one character or another someday, though it bugs me when I use names that I see often from Marvel...seems weird somehow, you know? 
 
Lily just poped in my head, though. She's a water Lily! *snigers at own bad joke* Wich is symbolic of purity, so, I think I just found a name. You my friends, have witnesed a miricle. lol
