The Protectors always stay on alert when it comes to Ricky, because of his True Nature. If you don't already know. Ricky is a Vampire
Forturnitly, He wasn't born with it, so there's a high chance of him being cured, if they find a cure. Until then, Ricky must live with it. His Protector powers allow him to walk in the daylight, but he tends to like the dark better though.
Kalo the Chameleon did alot of research on Vampires are found out that Chaos Emeralds weaken, harm or even kill a vampire.
Suddenly Ricky gave in to his instinct and started attacking people, his first taget..........Shadow the Hedgehog.
Lucky Shadow listen to what Kalo had to say, when he pulled out the Emerald, Ricky became weaker, but he rip it out of his hand and through it to the ground. Ricky was trying to bite him while Shadow Struggled to get the emerald back. There were no the people in the area so Shadow was on his own.
