Leonardo dressed as the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli.
Most of the costume (the feather headdress and colors and bands on the arms and legs) are accurate to Aztec depictions of the god. But I changed some things, and added some details for fun, yay artistic license. ^_^
Done for a friend's amazing turtles fic, "The Cautious Seldom Err". It involves lots of South American stuff, and I was taking a class on conquistadors at the time, so this pic came about.
Done with micron pens and copic and sharpie markers.
