Netto.exe and Tutorial part 2

Now I need to do the outline of the design. I used two simple steps, Layer and Pen Tool. You creat a new layer over the top of your pencil version and get the pen tool.

How to use the pen tool: It can be hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy. ok first just get a normal 100 by 100 pixels size background in photoshop, just to practice with. now select the pen tool and press anywhere on the page. Now click again anywhere else, but this time do not let go. Now still holding the mouse button down, more it and the striaght line will become a curve line. Now let go and right click on your mouse and select 'stroke brush'. no select the brush opiton and press ok. Now you know how to create your lines. But if the line is to small or something just change the size in you brush tool.

Tip: In my pix you see nettos hair over the head band, but I already did the head band line through the hair. So I create a new layer and draw the hair on that layer. then i go bacl the the headband layer and rubbed away the line through the hair with the eraser tool.

Colour: Use the brush tool and colour in. The wand tool really helps with this task.

Ok thats prat two. I know not alot of it makes sence but if i told you actually how i do them, everyone with be colouring like me, when you need your own colouring style. anyway g2g bye.

Pic info: This is Netto if he was a Net Navi. I used his clothes for the design so he still keeps in character. Thanks to the Rockman seires (Megaman is called Rockman in Jap version and Lan is called Netto) I know where I have been going wrond with the male bodies, becuase they were a nightmare to draw. If you divide the body in to three parts instead of two, you get a better visual on the body and easier to draw the postions. The onlt thing I don't like about the drawing the perspective, I really need to work on that.
