Okay, my comic I drew for this person on the Cosplay.com Forum.
Here''s what she origanally wrote-
I''m a firm believer in there''s a time and a place for cosplay and going out in public outside of "con time" is not one of them. ^_^
Best reaction I''ve ever gotten while walking from the parking garage to the con center hotel was while dressed as Inuyasha:
*Taxicab pulls up beside me*
Driver: "M-Ma''am?" (unsure if I was a guy or a girl)
Me: "yes?" (I have a very girly voice)
Driver: *gets a load of the cats eye contact lenses and looks a bit scared* O_O "Ma''am...I have NEVER in my LIFE seen anything like you before! What ARE you?!"
Me: *laughs REALLY hard and the guy gets a glimpse of my fangs*
Driver: *looks scared*
Me: *leans down to talk better* "I''m going to a japanese animation convention. They have a costume contest. My character''s a DEMON!"
Driver: "Oh..."
Me: "Bye!"
Somehow I don''t think he believed me......
I loved it so much I made a comic about it.
