Description

Yeah, some Manji fanart for all ya's. Don't ask why he's smiling like that, I know it's not his style, but that's just how it turned out and I didn't want to riski ruining it by redoing his face. It kind of got butchered by the scanner, I'm going to toy with it in photoshop but for now this is what you're going to get, so....tell me what you think.

Nice portrait, and interesting scar... It makes one wonder what this fella's been up to and what he appears to be smirking about -- sort of a trick Da Vinci did with the Mona Lisa. Anyway, very well done -- the scar or tattoo follows the shape of the face so it doesn't look like flat lines. The face is well-drawn, too, although if you were shooting for realistic, the features are a little exaggerated -- however if you were exaggerating them purposely, to make it look more abstract/cartoon-like, you did succeed. Very intriguing portrait. *faves*

It's based of a manga character, so I was trying to stay true to the characters original design but still add a little realism to the final product. Which features do you think are exxagerated. Let me guess...the hair and the mouth right?
