Dragon of Death

Allow me to answer EveryBodysFool's question: <b>PRACTICE</b>. If I might shamelessly plug my own stuff for a sec, I've had a few years of experience drawing them. But this comment hsouldn't be about me, it should be about this dragon here, so let's begin.<br />

Considering the sketchy quality of the dragon (in my opinion, all it needs is some color & shading), there's not much I can really point out to improve on. The main thing that I notice is the wings. The "thumb" claw at the top of each wing (top of picture) implies that we're looking at the underside of the wing, which confuses me as to exactly how the wings are structured from there to the body. They're overall a nice job though, both in size and detail.<br />

The only other thing that I wonder about is the dragon's head. With so much of the head taken up by the snout and mouth, and the eyes right next to the horns like that, where's the dragon's brain go? It has to fit somewhere in that head too....<br />

Considering how the wings cover up much of the dragon's body I can't say much about that, but it looks pretty solid. If a bit plain... dragons usually look cooler if you decorate their tail and spine with scales, spines, hair, etc.<br />

So overall not a bad job. If you're planning to color this guy in, I'd love to see it. Oh and in case I didn't already say so, welcome to FAC!
