Personality:<br />
Shadow is completely anti-social, but not because he wants to be. He’s been like this since he was born. He hardly ever talks, hoping the teachers won’t ask him any questions as he sits in the back of the classroom, and never to any one else but his close friends. He’s very reclusive, but a bit of a Smart-Alix when it comes to some of the teachers. The traumatizing effects of his father beating him have made him even more reclusive, disappearing into the shadows when ever possible.<br />

Appearance:<br />
He stands at five feet nine inches, and has piercing grey eyes. His silvery-grey hair, usual black clothes, and extremely pale complexion make him look like an old photograph. He’s fairly muscular from spending most of his summers doing heavy lifting for his father’s work, and is admired from afar by the many girls at Freedent’s Academy, yet most of them find it too awkward to go up and talk to this silent, yet very handsome*, seventeen-year-old.<br />

History:<br />
Shadow’s past is, well, shadowed in mystery, as he hardly ever talks, hardly anyone knows where he’s from and why he’s so quiet. Apart from his little sister, Lina Marietta Thomas, no one knows that his mother died from birth trauma and his father began beating his children after drinking too much out of grief. His father blamed his daughter for his wife’s death after coming home one night from the bar. He raised a hand to her, but Shadow took the blow, remembering what his mother had said.<br />
“You’re a big brother now, you have to protect her even if you don’t like it, and you have to help her...”<br />
He has never forgotten those words, and has protected his little sister from both his father and the bullies at the school, knowing it was what his mother wanted, knowing, some how, that she was pleased with him. <br />
When he turned five, he was put through many different tests at the hospital, the doctors trying to find out if his reclusive quietness was because of some sort of mental disability. And as it turned out, it was. Shadow is very autistic in the sense he can’t talk to people, or have them touch him without him getting shaky, nervous, or just freaking out. He hates crowds, and having to speak in front of people he doesn’t know.<br />
