Great Escape

On the last day of school, my school had this big assembly. It was a boring speech about this summer and next year XD

BUT... wow... I never thought my last day would turn out like this.

One of the vice principals found me and my friends during the speech.
(my friends are all in a band, but I'm not XD I dont want to be)

Anyway, after she found us all, she asked if we could all play a song for the students since it's the last day.

All my friends said they didnt have their instruments, but my school's pretty well-stocked with instruments XDD

They supplied the guitars, bass, drums, and mics! So after getting set up and such, the principal announced us.

We decided to play "The Great Escape", by Boys Like Girls.

I was the singer! Geez... I was SO nervous XDD

But the reaction we got after we finished was worth it.

We got a standing ovation!

I gotta say.... that was my best last day of school ever.
