A young Forest Keesh is stalking you from the grass. He''s still an amateure, so cut him some slack. =]

Art Trade with a friend from dA. She asked me to draw the Forest variation of my Keesh species.

This. Took. Forever. I drew each blade of grass.. one-by-one.
And if you look closely at the Keesh and trees, I gave them texture -- fur and bark~

A Keesh has no eyes, so it hunts using sound and smell mainly. They also can learn of an object''s chemical structure by licking it. In this picture, a young Forest Keesh doesn''t realize that the grass he''s (trying) to hide in doesn''t have the right colors, height, or width to camoflauge him well because he hasn''t licked enough grass types or experienced enough failed hunts.
