...sudenly Pikachu Dude coughed. It sounded raspy, and he rubbed his throught as he finished, feeling as though there was something stuck inside it, like snot when you have a cold. He coughed again slightly, then again, louer and more forcefully. He broke into a fit of violent coughs, but the feeling would not go away. It became hard to draw breath, and he gasped for air as he hacked uncontrollably. He spat out his cigarette and grabbed at his throught again, feeling dizzy. Within minutes he passed out.

When Pikachu Dude woke up again, he was lying in a bed at the hospital. Raichu Guy was sitting in a chair next to him, watching him with a concerned expression and holding Pikachu Dude's hat in one paw. "Pika... pik-chu?" Asked Pikachu Dude. Raichu Guy slowly rose from his seat and walked to the trash can, leaving his friend's hat on the foot of the bed. Reaching in, he pulled out the pack containing the rest of Pikachu Dude's cigarettes. "Rai, raichu chu raichu" he warned, dunping the box back into the garbage. "Chu-ra, raaii chu chu," he explained, gesturing at the IV in Pikachu Dude's arm. Raichu Guy walked back to his chair, sitting down and watching Pikachu Dude intently. The yellow Pokémon glanced at Raichu Guy cautiously, and, seeing reasurance in his eyes, gave a shakey smile. "Kachu pi pika," he promised solemnly.

And with that, Pikachu Dude gave up smoking forever. The End.
