Me in Slipknot.

Had a quick sketch in the old sketchbook, then I fleshed it out a bit more for someone...then fleshed it out again. Gave myself a simpler mask and fixed the pose.

I went a bit crazy on the page. Erasing and changing. Worked up quite a bit of smudge and dented paper. Tried to fix it as much as I could in photoshop. It's still quite untidy in places...but it was a lot worse.

This is "untidy" to you? You're a crazy person! Haha. This is awesome, the guitar is perfect. The fingers on his right hand look a bit stubby to me, but it's wonderful nonetheless. ^^

I am crazy. Crazily anal retentive about lines. I wish I wasn't. I might be able to relax a bit more when I draw.

Those fingers look a bit stubby to me too. I tried them a few times and then thought "Argh...good enough." XD

Haha, I'm the same way. Big time perfectionist when I draw. Only yours turns out looking a lot better than mine. ^^

I have so many problems with hands... Your "good enough" is great to me! ^^

Whooooooah~ but the work on it really was worth it! :D I absolutely love the shading you do~ seriously, you should do more of it, your shading is so impeccably smooth and evenly distributed~
And my god, whatever it is that's on this version, it's impeccably clean. XC Love that guitar and the really amazing lines; not a single stroke it out of place, it feels.
And YAY SUPER-EVEN crosshatching background. XD; So much it's more like a mesh than crosshatching.

Awesome. Really, really flippin' awesome. <3

:) Thankies. It was easier because I'd already done it once...so I'd learnt some lessons. In reality, I really should do that more often. Do more 'practice' drawings before the final...but I'm just too darn lazy.

I've noticed shading creeping into my stuff lately...so I think there could be more of it on it's way.

Damn...it just got hot in here again. *takes off sweater* Phew...and where did all this blushing on my face come from? *rubs cheeks*

You know...the first song I wrote for Slipknot was called "Ich Mag Moscho". Actually...most of the songs I wrote for them were called that. No...all of them were.
