Tonight, On The Simpsons...

...uhhh...ME!

Found this not long ago. I was beginning to get the impression that I was not going to be asked to do a guest voice for The Simpsons, so I decided to put myself in the show.

This is a scene that would have to occur. It would just have to.

I think if I did this now I would look pretty different. The Simpsons style looks simple, but for me it's hard to get it to look like it does on the show. Especially when I do characters that haven't been done before.

Hahaha, that'd be so cool. XD; This pic is neato, particularly since I can relate for once since I DO watch simpsons. Hahaha.
...I wish you were asked to VA. D: I'd watch that episode even with over a weeks' worth of calculus homework looming on my head. (Oh wow, that was nerdy, lol)
The style looks pretty awesome to me. And again, kudos to the awesome BG and details and everything. :]

O_o You would watch it? *copies your comment* I am sending this to Matt Groening...err, as soon as I get his email address...and then if that doesn't do it...then it's all politics and I will have no part of that.

I know my subjects are a bit different. =( I have a lot of trouble trying to find categories for them a lot of the time.

Aww. That's alright. I've got an anti-popularity thing and it's hard to explain, since I do like Simpsons... hahaha. But oblique things are good.
And you still look quite awesome in the simpsons style.

Yeah. I've always had a thing for old movies and tv, and at the same time been pretty clueless about what's popular. Makes for a lot of blank stares when I'm around friends. D:

I think I look better as a cartoon character. XD

ahh, four fingers! that looks so weird XD
it looks so amazing =D the details are incredible! so authentic just like in the shows
what are you guys talking about? the comic book shop guy is probably arguing about a prize or refusing to sell you something :P

I think I drew myself with five fingers and then had to erase one. It does look weird to look at a picture of myself and see a finger missing. O_o

I think we would be arguing about something. Like, who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman. And he's trying to convince me that Spiderman would win. ;) Or maybe we're arguing over which is better Star Wars or Star Trek. The Comic Shop Guy has a bit of an attitude so I'm sure we'd be arguing about something.

My goodness you are skilled!! It's always fun to try and mimic other's styles...and you've done very very well here!! I love the background peices...(My favorite in the alternative ending to the Empire Strikes back. XD) And the hand!! I am amazed by the hand!! I BOW TO THE HAND!!

Thank you. =) When I thought that I could maybe fill the comic shop with stuff that's been in various shows, that got me quite excited about drawing it. But it meant looking through books and writing a list of stuff. D:

The Simpsons style is awesome. I think I like the Futurama style a bit more. It's sort of the same, but looks a bit better to me. I might have to put myself in that show too. XD
