So...I finally got around to colouring this. I just got this burst of motivation to do it, so here's what I did. I still think there's more I could do...but I don't know what yet. It's just this nagging feeling everytime I see it.

But I did learn some new tricks and techniques working on this, so that's good. ;) And Robin is awesome...

G76=) I always like to do Robin, drawing or colouring, so I always try to make him look better than anyone else in the picture. And I wasn't sure about Raven. I think she was the one I thought might have needed a bit more work on...but if you like it, than I say it's good enough. <3

Trinity_FireWhoooooooooooooooooooaaaaaahhhh~!! A FEW new tricks?? This looks so flippin' amazing!! Whoo! I've always wanted to learn how to gradient-shade, but never quite figured it out. :/ But I really do love the shading on Raven's cloak, and Robin's as well. Everything else is amazing, as per usual~ Awesome art, yet again. Goodness. See how pretty coloring can be??? 8D

G76Sooooo...are you saying I should colour more? I...uh...I don't know. I am sooooo insecure about my colouring. I don't think I'd even admit to doing it if someone asked. But I just sketched a bunch of stuff with the intent on colouring it...so I haven't given up yet. ;)

Gradient shading does look quite intimidating at first. I know it scared the hell out of me, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy and quick.

Trinity_FireMaybe you should do a tutorial, 'cuz I don't know the first thing about how to do it. ;D
My one attempt was miserable.
Maybe it's just 'cuz I'm still not fully aware of this feature you wizened ones call "layers"... u_________u;

G76All the stuff I've learnt has been from tutorials, so I'd probably just copy other people's. But layers do make things a lot easier, to work on and to get effects. I remember when I was colouring on one layer and I wouldn't go back to that way. I can give you some links to the tutorials to helped me if you like.

Trinity_FireOh man, sure. I'm too lazy to look for tutorials; that's the truth. But I've no time, so don't expect new things to happen anytime soon.
Also, I'm pretty much 98% photoshoppe-lingo illiterate. :/ Blegh. But sure, I'd love it. : )

No_NameVery nice. I especially love the cuff detail, and the tagged wall.

G76Thank you. =) I think that cuff turned out quite good. I was just trying something different, and it ended up turning out quite well. And I was thinking of maybe doing those tags on photoshop, but I just left the original drawings there and I think it probably looks better like that.
