I must say, your background is very realistic yet has a strong paradice feeling to it. The folds on his clothes are wonderfully exicuited and his proportions are pretty muhc correct. The only thing that bothers me is his left ear. We shouldn't really be seeing that. But apart from that, it's a spectacular piece and you should be very proud! ^^

The water and grass are sooooooooooooo cool looking!! and the sky is great too!!! I love the coloring, and the folds in his clothes are perfect!!!
Constructive critisizm: The hat looks a little strange, like the brim on on side is too wide. You forgot the scar on his face.
