Jade Pendant

I was reasonably enthused to learnt that FAC has a jewellery category, even though I had to wonder just why.<br />

This is an imitation jade pendant that I made a few weeks ago. I'm certain that it's imitation because I bought the stone for less than a dollar at my local bead supply store. I used that stone, two brown beads, and a double strand of copper wire to put it all together. I hope to make my own beads soon so that I can make something that is entirely my creation, rather than just a showcase of my ability to resource available materials.<br />

I'm pleased with the way it turned out, but I'm not very happy with the chain I constructed to display it. One can't see much of it, but it boils down to being two different colours of wax linen braided together. I think it looks cheap in comparison to the pendant, so I will probably fashion something better some day.
