I LOVE Skuntank. He is my second favorite Pokémon, and a strong member of my Pokémon team, so I decided I really wanted to make a plushie of him. I wanted to make him like two feet long, but I quickly realized how much fabric that would require, and modified the scale to be about 8 inches long instead. xD
Here he is next to a DS, for scale.
I used a combination of hand and machine sewing to create this plush (and at one point, LITERAL hand-sewing... ouch).
His eyes and teeth are vinyl, and the details around the eyes were done with acrylic paints
Fleece and faux fur were used as main body materials, I like the stark contrast in textures.
I also made sure to give him extra cute little paws. <3
I saved the pattern, so I can make myself a little army if I so desire, in any size I want. xD I can even sell you one later!
And that's mah fluffybutt! xD Hope you enjoyed the photos. I am so proud of him, eeee. I can't wait until I have more time to make plushies.
