why is it black?
because, the normal ones by pure blooded korime are white, their birth stones are blue, yukina's are yellowed by the sulfur in her blood %SPOILER% (she is half korime and half fire demon, though the first is more dominant in her looks) and hiei's are grey-black from obsidian (well, he's half fire demon too, after all.)

needed a sketch for an art class, and there were no real guidelines, so i did this. the person next to me thought it was a grape that was bleeding. to each his own.

5 min to get a circle, 3 to get the reflected tear to look ok but not warped by the spherical shape cause i didn't want it that way, 1 for shading, 1 for smudging the shading, 10 for cleanup and details.
