I just got finished reading an amazing book. o.o This really shouldn''t be qualified...but I just had to do it.^^ He''s my favorite character. I hope I captured his likeness, there was nothing for me to look at other than my own imagination.^^ So here he is! Dustfinger from Cornelia Funke''s "Inkheart."

I really got to do something about that dark crease in the middle, and it''s really quite light too. This has been my first attempt in a long time to draw a life-like person. I usually stick to anime-style cartoons.XD

I pictured him with a trench coat at first too... In the first bit in Mo's yard; that sounded so suspicious it needed a trench coat.
Then later on I thought a trench coat might get in the way of all the fire...

The face looks good, especially the nose. -nods- Well done ^^

No wonder that name sounded so familiar. Dustfinger! Its that guy that appeared at Mo's house.

Yeah! Cool. I picture him with those tan detective hats and a huge trench coat. I dunno why.....

I really think this is beautiful! I especially like the nose for some reason. It is just so hard to draw that part of the face. Excellent job!

Wow thats like... amazing! I still have to read that book... my friend keeps saying "READ THIS!!!" and then chucking the book at me... nice job on the hair!!
