The girl walked towards me on the stone pathway, the breeze ruffling her long, black hair.
Her skin was like marble and it was almost snow white. Her eyes were the dazzling color of ice and her lips were full and perfect. Her hair curved into an elegant braid that came down to her waist. She was wearing a black short with long, airy sleeves and a short red skirt. Her legs were flawless and she wore black tights to darken them. She walked confidently wearing two black, high-heeled shoes. Her eyes skimmed the darkness and caught mine.
We both stopped and her perfect lips turned up into a smile, as did mine.
She approached me and said in a voice of an angel, "Follow me."
I suprised myself as my legs walked after her, my brain not controlling them. She led me to the edge of the forest, not far from where we already were and she stopped.
She turned around and said, "I never do this, I do apologize." I was confused when she said it but when she flashed her perfect white teeth, I understood.
She walked towards me as I backed away, my eyes wide, still mezmorized by her beauty.
Her eyes were full of apology as she said again, "Please don't make this difficult, it won't hurt if you cooporate."
She tensed like a tiger stalking its prey and she crouched on the ground. Her lips pulled back, displaying her white teeth. She uttered a low growl, and before I knew what hit me, pounced, flinging me backwards into the tall grass and I screamed. I felt a sharp pain on my neck as her teeth sunk into my skin. It only lasted a second, one gulp for her, until she drew back, her eyes black. I screamed again but she put her freezing hand over my mouth.
"I'm so sorry," she apologized again. "I just couldn't stand the thirst anymore, and you were the first person I saw."
I couldn't say that I understood but I was too frightened to move, as her hands were moving at top speed around my neck, trying to stop the bleeding perhaps.
She looked at me hesitantly and said, "Are you alright?"
"Fine, fine," I managed to croak out, my voice hoarse from screaming.
Without a word, she flung me into her arms and ran, her speed amazingly graceful, as she moved like a gazelle through the grass. When we reached the pathway, she carefully set me down and placed a rose in my hands.
I was astounded that she would bite me, but then save me from her own deed and give me a rose for all my trouble.
She smiled and said in a musical voice, "You're too weak to move right now, but someone is coming as we speak. Don't tell them it was a vampire or else they will all waste their time looking. I do hope we meet again!"
With that, I saw her bounding into the forest, already gone.
