It's always sad when you lose a friend too young. I've never lost anyone that close to me before, so I can't really relate, but I have friends who have lost loved ones. It's very sad.I like your interpretation and the art itself. It came out really nice if you ask me.
You know, your by-hand shading always looks really great. It definitely adds to your art.
