I recently bought and beat the game Okami! It was absolutely awesome, and not just because the main character was a wolf! Overall, it was an awesome game. Of course, very few games contain characters I'm actually capable of drawing... ^_^ ...so, being able to draw the main characters was a plus when it came right down to it. Here we see Okami Amaterasu (Ammy) and "her" friend, Issun!
I attempted a different style... a... realistic style (very rare for me) with this piece. Amaterasu was created using Dogwaffle 1.-something-or-other (free version), white Issun and the gentle green glow on and around Ammy were created using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Overall, a very quick picture... but one I really like nonetheless.

I loved that game. It was just cute. And perfect for artists like ourselves. I enjoyed solving some of the puzzles too.I'm also planning on drawing Amaterasu eventually, but your piece is very nice, and suits your avatar just fine. Just as some advice, you might want to consider using the smudge tool to make the fur look smoother so it doesn't look like it's sticking out everywhere.
