Fakemon - Marlish

Another one! This one kind of started out with "I need more Fighting types in my generation" and then I saw some Deadliest Catch-ish show where they were catching Blue Marlins so I thought "Hey that'd make a neato Pokemon" and so this little guy was born!

I like him quite a bit. :D Him and the two evos I've got planned for him too.

Yeah, that stats probably foreshadow him being a Glass Cannon too, huh?

Origin: I just said blue marlins gosh ):<esugehjui
Name origin: Marlin + Swish? Not the best, though I like the names of his evolutions better. (Marlash and Marlance)

Also a fan-made ability to note, Piercing has the user ignore Protect and Detect.
And for the two new attacks, Guard Breaker is a Fighting type move that breaks through Protect and Detect and then does double damage. It also has a base power of 60, so there's 120 base power if you nail a Pokemon using Protect.
The other is Aqua Blade is a Water Type move which has base power of 80, and 10% chance of lowering the target's defense.
